How to turn off Windows Search | Step By Step | With Screenshot

Here in this article, you will learn how to disable the Windows Search. If you don't know what is Windows Search then read our another article What is Windows Search Services.
Okay, let's see how to do it


Step - 1
Open Run Utility by using a CTRL+R key combination.

Step - 2
Type services.msc and press Enter.

Step - 3
Now, look for Windows Search in the list. (click any, and then press W to jump near to Windows Search)

Step - 4
Right-click the Windows Search service and go to Properties.

Step - 5
Set the Startup type to Disabled. under General tab

Any time you can change the settings to Automatic by performing the same steps except in Step 5, set the Startup type to Automatic (Delayed Start).
