Google Play Music may be discontinued and migrated to YouTube Remix
Since last July, as per the report, Google is planning to merge YouTube and Google Play Music and could launch a new music streaming service, YouTube Remix.
“We’ve previously announced the combination of the YouTube Music and Google Play product teams — music is very important to Google so it’s critical we have one offering that meets the needs of consumers and artists. Nothing will change for users today and we’ll provide plenty of notice before any changes are made”, said by Youtube Spokesperson to Droid Life.
As per report users will be forced to switch from google play music to YouTube Remix and will shut down the google play music service by the end of this year.
